This year in the middle of September our tekke welcomed a like-minded friend and associate – the esteemed Chishti sheikh (Pakistan) Sahibzada Asim Maharvi Chishty accompanied by his closest companion Punjabi Baithak.
Sahibzada Asim Maharvi Chishty was born in Maharsharif (Pakistan). He comes from the family of the great Sufi saint of Chishti order – Hazrat Khwaja Noor Muhammad Maharvi. He studied in a spiritual Sufi environment and has absorbed all the traditions since very childhood. He started travelling very early for learning and sharing of knowledge in Central Asia, Russia, England and the USA, also he met Sufi masters of different tariqas, and was privileged to serve them. Sahibzada Asim Maharvi founded a publishing house, publishes classical Sufi works. Gives lectures, organizes spiritual and training workshops around the world.
In a friendly atmosphere we discussed relevant themes of belief and wisdom of holy scriptures; of moral compasses and inner experiences of a human, of cultural heritage, and of the world and humanity as a whole in the époque of globalization.
